The FSCA Rural Operations course is tailor-made for those who dream of entering the fast-paced world of anti-poaching, security, and contracting in Southern Africa*. Prepare yourself for a high-octane training package that will see students receive accredited firearm and first aid training, and gain the knowledge and experience required to work in anti-poaching and high-risk rural environments of Southern Africa.

*Please note: Only RSA Nationals are legally allowed to carry firearms in South Africa.

Students will be taken through the six-week training to become highly skilled rural security officers, capable of tackling a wide range of challenges in Southern Africa’s rugged countryside. Whether it’s anti-poaching efforts, safeguarding mines, conducting deep reconnaissance missions, or performing high-risk search and rescue operations, this course will empower you with the essential skills needed to excel in non-permissive rural environments.

FSCA bring you the best of the best, as modern-day Elite and Special Forces Operators from global militaries and police forces will be your instructors. Through their extensive knowledge and expertise, they will transfer cutting-edge Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) directly to you. The FSCA Rural Operations Course – Introduction

This is a gruelling six-week training course for professionals, not a week-long “PMC Operator” experience offered by some organisations in Europe. The course is Pass or Fail.

Course Preparation

This course is designed to prepare students in all manner of Anti-Poaching & Rural Operations. If your weapon handling is not already at a high level we strongly advise you to book an appropriate course with PrepYou.Eu in Bulgaria or schedule pre-course training direct with FSCA.

To ensure a successful and fulfilling experience in this course, thorough preparation in advance is essential. Given its demanding nature and the expectation of excellence to pass, we highly recommend prior readiness.

To optimise the practical exercises and minimize classroom time, we provide learning materials and fitness programs upon successful enrollment. It is the responsibility of the learner to diligently complete all assigned learning tasks and assessments before the designated enrollment date.

During the initial week of the course, students will undergo assessments to evaluate their knowledge and fitness levels. If a student has not demonstrated the required effort in studying the materials or achieving an acceptable standard of basic fitness, they will be kindly asked to leave and join the next available intake. We firmly believe in giving every learner an opportunity to showcase their dedication before joining the program.

We understand the significance of preparation and want to ensure that every student is fully committed and ready to embrace the challenges ahead. By investing the necessary effort and engaging with the provided resources, you can maximize your chances of success in this course.

Food & Accomodation

During field exercises and training scenarios, we acknowledge that students will be immersed in challenging outdoor environments. To ensure their comfort and well-being, luxury lodge-style accommodations will be provided when they are not in the field.

Our lodge is nestled in the untouched beauty of the African bushveld, offering breathtaking views of South Africa’s natural wonders. Here, students can unwind and rejuvenate amidst pristine surroundings. Additionally, all meals will be meticulously prepared for students during their stay at the lodge.

However, it is important to note that during field exercises or while on exercise, meals will be provided in the form of ration packs, commonly known as MREs. These convenient and portable meals are designed to sustain students’ nutritional needs while they focus on their training and exercises.

At FSCA, we prioritize your comfort and nutritional requirements, ensuring a balance between immersive field experiences and moments of relaxation in a picturesque lodge setting.
