About FREC 3
Through FREC 3, participants will master the essential skills needed to act as first responders during emergencies, specifically in pre-hospital settings. Furthermore, FREC 3 represents the beginning of the extensive First Response Emergency Care (FREC) training journey.

FREC 3 is just the start. It’s part of a series of courses that culminate in the Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) (FREUC 5). These courses are pivotal for careers in emergency services, healthcare, and specialized medical roles in sectors like law enforcement, utilities, construction, and the military.
Understanding FREC 3 and Its Progression
The course equips non-healthcare professionals with essential pre-hospital care skills, aligned with the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D. If you’ve completed First Person on Scene Intermediate (FPOSi), you can advance to the FREC 3 Requalification. Both FREC 3 and FPOSi certifications last 3 years, after which requalification is necessary.
Course Structure & Outcomes
Course Objectives for First Responder Training
This course will empower you with the expertise needed to act as a first responder in pre-hospital scenarios. Upon completion, participants will:
1. Grasp the duties and expectations of a first responder.
2. Efficiently evaluate emergency situations.
3. Handle patients with both critical and non-critical ailments and injuries.
4. Evaluate and manage a patient’s airway condition.
5. Administer care to patients who are unresponsive or facing breathing challenges.
6. Operate and maintain an AED effectively during resuscitation.
7. Provide emergency oxygen when necessary.
8. Address and care for trauma victims.
9. Control and manage severe bleeding cases.
10. Treat chest-related injuries.
11. Respond to and manage general bleeding instances.
12. Attend to patients with circulation issues.
13. Address wounds, including eye injuries.
14. Administer first aid for burns and scalds.
15. Respond to sudden poisoning cases.
16. Offer emergency care for patients with injuries to the head, spine, or musculoskeletal system.
17. Recognise and treat breathing complications.
18. Manage patients undergoing anaphylactic reactions.
19. Address patients with suspected severe medical conditions.
20. Handle patients in active convulsions.
21. Provide care for symptoms related to environmental exposures.
Evaluation Methods:
• 6 Practical evaluations.

- Civilians wishing to enter the security industry – This course will prepare you for a role as a static armed guard. Not a high-speed, diesel-fueled operator as some training providers will claim! Please make contact prior to booking to ensure suitability for this course.
All Certification Testing is PASS or FAIL
As we are the first training company in the world to use Blockchain NFTs as a certification method, please note, once published, these NFT Certificates can never be deleted, edited or hacked.

Course Preparation
All students should be already at a high level of physical fitness.
Students are also expected to bring their own tactical equipment and clothing.
Failure to properly prepare for any Juliet7 training course will usually result in a FAIL.
Certification
Confirmation of learning happens at the end of every training day and usually takes the form of a “one-take” video (and other media) of the specific skill we are looking to prove. If the test result is a pass, we will create an NFT Video Certificate via our partner Noderon. This NFT Certificate is available to download to any META Walet (used for storing Cryptocurrency and other NFT types) which can be shared via a personalised link with potential employers.
The point of NFT Certification is that it cannot be argued with as it cannot be edited, deleted or even hacked once published. This, therefore, offers a far more robust and resilient form of proving your skill sets than an easily forgeable PDF certificate.
The video certificate also lives on our Private YouTube Channel and you will have sole access to share that media via the standard YouTube methods.
